Founded in 2024, The Trans Sport Alliance provides resources and support to transgender athletes in Canada and worldwide through a resource hub of scholarships and mental health supports, a mentorship program, workshops & webinars, advocacy & awareness campaigns, and a current policy watch.

Workshop Lead
Workshop Leads will be responsible for organizing and leading workshops and managing workshop logistics to ensure successful events.
Multiple positions are available, with 2-3 for each topic. Topics may include sport nutrition (HRT and non-HRT), injury prevention, mental health, etc.
Qualifications:
Varies by topic; 2+ years of experience in field preferred
Safe Sport certification required, additional NCCP certifications an asset
Strong Communication and Leadership skills
Experience using Zoom and/or Google Meet
Knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues and diversity awareness
Ability to work effectively in a remote team
Passion for promoting inclusivity and community engagement
Background in sports/fitness
Experience working with transgender athletes highly beneficial but not mandatory
Past experience in Workshops and/or Event Planning an asset
Mentor
The Trans Sport Alliance is looking for experienced mentors who can share their lived experiences and offer guidance to younger transgender athletes as part of the mentorship initiative,
Qualifications:
Safe Sport certification required, additional NCCP certifications an asset
Past experience in sport at a competitive level (high school, university/college, provincial, national, etc.)
Experience using Zoom and/or Google Meet
Knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues and diversity awareness
Ability to work effectively in a remote team
Passion for promoting inclusivity and community engagement
Content writers and editors will be responsible for crafting well-written pieces to be shared across our social media channels (such as LinkedIn).
Qualifications:
Strong Writing/Editing skills
Knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues and diversity awareness
Ability to work effectively in a remote team
Passion for promoting inclusivity and community engagement
Background in sports/fitness
Past experience in SEO, content creation, and/or digital marketing highly preferred
Internet researchers will be responsible for maintaining an updated list of scholarships and mental health supports for the resource hub as well as the current policies of sport governing bodies (e.g., NCAA, IOC). They will also work closely with content writers to showcase new case studies and scientific breakthroughs in related fields.
Qualifications:
Strong Research skills
Experience using Zoom and/or Google Meet
Knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues and diversity awareness
Ability to work effectively in a remote team
Passion for promoting inclusivity and community engagement
Background in sports/fitness preferred
Community outreach coordinators will be responsible for reaching out to local sport organizations and securing brand partnerships and sponsorships.
