Only 10% of the countries in the world have already allowed people to amend their gender to a legalized non-binary or third gender identification on their passport. Bangladesh is one of them.
But besides that recognition, the Hijra, Transgender, Intersex and gender diverse communities are still systematically excluded from the mainstream job market. As a result they are being deprived of all basic human rights.
Ze Project is working to address these unheard needs.
At ZE Project we think that we will help those communities in the long run by putting them on the path to economic independence. One solution, we must help them find a job. Yet, society isn’t always ready to accept them.
So we develop a multilateral solution:
At ZE Project we support skills development and we promote training into this precise
community. We also focus on encouraging recruitment by giving them the key to succeed in
their specific field, whether it is a diploma or equipment.
We also target society in itself by spreading awareness via our socials and the awareness
session we organize regularly
Here, we have seen non binary, trans, gender diverse people and we would be happy to
recruit others even more !
